Deketra Renea (Saddler) Saddler

Deketra Renea Saddler, age 41, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Shannon Medical Center South in San Angelo, Texas.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 6:30 - 7:30 P.M..

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Ensminger officiating.    Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Deketra was born on April 30, 1982 in Sweetwater, Texas to Paul and Arnettia (Jennings) Saddler.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.  She graduated from Sweetwater High School in 2000.

She is survived by her parents, Paul Saddler, Sr. and Arnettia Jennings of Sweetwater, Texas, son, Kemarion Saddler of Sweetwater, Texas, daughter, Erion Jackson of Sweetwater, Texas, grandson, Noah Jackson, sisters,  Lasonia Saddler, Dominque Saddler, and Torenya Imogene Saddler, brother, Paul Keaton Saddler, Jr., grandmother, Imogene Saddler, special cousin, Nakesha Cole, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde Saddler, Sr. and Booker T. and Dorothy Mae Jennings, aunts, Barbara Nickerson, Alene Clayton, and Leasor "Lisa" Jennings.

Pallbearers will be Paul Keaton Saddler, Jr., Hector Andrew Medina, George Jennings, Royce Jennings, Byron Blueford, and Eric Jennings.

Honorary pallbearer will be Trey Saddler.
