Jenelle (Goettsche) Moore

Jenelle Moore, age 88, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Sterling Hills Rehab.

Per her wishes, her body will be cremated.  A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Ensminger officiating.  Burial of her cremains will follow at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Jenelle was born on December 28, 1934 to Gus and Helen Louise (Jackson) Goettsche.  She married Clinton S. Moore on November 19, 1964 in Sweetwater, Texas.  She worked as a bank teller for many years with Texas Bank & Trust and retired from Texas National Bank, after working for forty two years.  She was a member of Fourth & Elm Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Clinton Moore of Sweetwater, Texas, son, John Moore of Houston, Texas, daughter, Cindy Morton of Centerton, Arkansas, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and nieces, Donice Powell, and Glynis Gotcher.

She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Moore, parents, Gus and Helen Goettsche, sisters, Gusta McGee, and Glenna Miles.
