Albert Franklin Lanning

Albert Franklin Lanning, age 77, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
His body was cremated. A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Crowley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Albert was born on June 29, 1936 in Ogdenburg, New Jersey to Ernest and Elenor (Snyder) Lanning. He married Bettie Lanier in November, 1962 in California. He was in the U.S. Air Force for twenty years. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, he worked for SISD for twenty years. He was a member of Fourth and Elm Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Bettie Lanning of Sweetwater, Texas; brother, Ted Lanning of North Carolina; niece, Susan Taylor of North Carolina, and special friends, Norma and Kenny Bonner of Sweetwater, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Elenor Lanning.
