Alice (Perez) Lopez

Alice Perez Lopez, age 80, of Colorado City, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Mitchell County Nursing & Rehab.

Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 17, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish with Father Nilo Nalugon officiating. Burial will follow at Westbrook Cemetery in Westbrook, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

A rosary will be held 7:00 P.M. Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel recited by David Mendez.

She was born on April 22, 1938 in Uvalde, Texas to Adolfo and Francisca (Blanco) Perez.  She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish.  She married Buddy  Lopez on April 3, 1962 in  Uvalde, Texas.

She is survived by five sons, Nick Lopez and wife Teresa; Buddy Lopez and wife Helen; Adolph Lopez and wife Amy; Paul Fernandez and wife Pansy and Sammy Vallez; four daughters, Alice Griffin and husband Joseph, Rose Castillo; Elena Bonilla and husband Gilbert; and Veronica Lopez; sixteen grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolfo and Francisca Perez, husband, Buddy Lopez, brothers, Adolfo (Nune) Perez, Jr., and Amado Perez, sister, Elena Perez and granddaughter, Shelley Lopez.

Pallbearers will be Gabriel Castillo, Adolph Lopez, Jr., Andy Limones, Ryan Dominguez, Josh Lopez and Jaden Sullivan.
