Allie Lee (Lambert) Greer

Allie Lee Greer, age 92, of Clifton, Texas, (former resident of Sweetwater, Texas) passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Goodall Witcher Hospital in Clifton, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A. M. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Broadway Baptist Church with Pastor Lonnie Lehrman officiating assisted by Brother L. J. McCullough. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Allie was born on July 15, 1920 in Claytonville, Texas (Fisher County) to Jake McCall Lambert and Lula Della (Gill) Lambert. She was a long time member of Broadway Baptist Church in Sweetwater. She married Wendell D. Greer on January 21, 1939 in Big Spring, Texas. She worked for Lang Aycock Nursery for 26 years and Jerry Riggs for 23 years before retiring.
She is survived by two daughters, Connie Davison of Clifton, Texas; Darlene Knight of Sweetwater, Texas; one son, Wendell N. Greer of Nazareth, PA; ten grandchildren; Donna McCullough, Cindy Clayton, Keith Hoover, Naner Hearn, Sancy Thomas, Pete Hearn, Darryl Hoover, Lisa Palacios, Sandra Tague and Nellie Greer. twenty six great grandchildren; twenty eight great great grandchildren; two great great great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews including Tee Dee Lehrman of Granbury, Tx.; and Lanita Richardson of Cisco, Tx.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Lula Della Lambert, husband, Wendell D. Greer, brothers Houston Lambert, Merle Lambert and Berle M. Lambert, two sisters, Lorene Landrum and Wanda "Pat" Lambert. and daughter Rita Hoover, great grandchild Niya McCullough.
Pallbearers will be Cody Thomas, Tim Solano, D.J. McCullough, Louis Palacios, Jr., Jordan Palacios, and Lamont Thompson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Patrick Palacios, Louis Palacios, Sr., Alton Thomas, Wayne Lehrman and Ken Lawrence.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 8, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. at the funeral home.
