Alonzo Castellanos Galindo

Alonzo Castellanos Galindo, age 65, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Hendrick Medical Center North.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 6:00 - 7:30 P.M..

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 16, 2024 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Jessie Benavidez officiating.  Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Alonzo was born on May 11, 1959 in San Buenaventura, Coahuila, Mexico to Conrado Padilla and Yolanda (Castellanos) Galindo.  He married Sylvia  Lopez on November 8, 1980 in Sweetwater, Texas.  Alonzo was a graduate of Sweetwater High School Class of 1977 and he also attended TSTC. He owned and operated his own janitorial service.  He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses and a longtime resident of Sweetwater.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Galindo of Sweetwater, Texas, two sons,  Adrian Galindo and wife Jessica, and Isaac (Aki) Galindo and wife Tiffany (Cabral) Galindo, grandchildren, Isaac Nicolas Galindo, Aurora Galindo, Elly Galindo, and Iris Galindo, brothers, Jaime Galindo and wife Terry of Sweetwater, Texas, and Nemesio Galindo and wife Dalila of Pflugerville, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his son, Timoteo Santiago Lopez Galindo, parents, Conrado & Yolanda Galindo, brothers, Conrado Galindo, Jr. and Severo Galindo.

Pallbearers will be Adrian Galindo, Isaac Galindo, Isaac Nicolas Galindo, Nemesio Galindo, Timothy Soto, and Encarnacion Lopez, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Aurora Galindo, Elly Galindo and Iris Galindo.
