Andrew Newton (Andy) Geaslin, age 74, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Abilene Regional Medical Center.
As per his wishes, his body was donated for medical research. Arrangements by Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 4:00 - 7:00 P.M., Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Recreational Center at 604 Jack Lambert Drive, Sweetwater, Texas.
Andrew was born on May 21, 1940 in Jackson County, Arkansas to Kenneth Cornelius and Florence M. (McWilliams) Geaslin. He worked as a truck driver for many years before retiring. He was a Christian and a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by daughter, Debbie Geaslin Little of Sweetwater, Texas, son, Kenneth Geaslin of Odessa, Texas, sister, Betty Hubbard of Abilene, Texas; one grandson, four nieces, one nephew, and two special friends, Carol Spradlin and (Bud) Gaylin Ray Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and one sister, Youtha Evans.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ben Richey Boys Ranch, 501 Ben Richey Drive, Abilene, Texas 79602.
