Bennie was born on May 18, 1937 in Bakersfield, California to Cleofas and Ventura (Torres) Meneses.  He married Loyce (Rodriguez) Meneses on July 8, 1954 in Lordsburg, New Mexico.  He worked for Flintkote, then Domtar (which is now Georgia Pacific) for many years before retiring.  He was a longtime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish.

He was our superman, our hero, and a man of integrity.  He still believed that your word and a handshake were everything.  If he gave you his word, then it happened.  That is just who he was.  Never lie, steal, and cheat and always take care of your family no matter what, that was his motto, and he did that.  He worked hard to get the things he had and always provided and protected his family.  He is was an AMAZING man that would give anyone the shirt off his back.  He loved our Mom dearly and those who knew them knows that this was a love story that everyone hopes to have (over 70 years of marriage and love).

He is survived by his wife, Loyce Meneses of Sweetwater, Texas, son, Mark Meneses and wife Reneigh of Sweetwater, Texas, and daughter, Anna Meneses of Sweetwater, Texas, grandchildren, Crystal Meneses, Madison Meneses Johnson and husband Hunter, Rhylee Meneses, and Markus Meneses, two great grandchildren, Olivia Meneses and Evyn Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleofas and Ventura Meneses, daughters, Patricia Meneses and Nancy Meneses and six sisters and one brother.
