Bernice (Yoakum) Howard

Bernice Howard, age 90, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at Snyder Healthcare Center.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Palava Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.
Bernice was born on July 2, 1925 in Palava, Texas to Ollie and Tye Yoakum. She was a homemaker.
Bernice loved spending time with her family and was a loving and caring person to everyone she met. She will truly be missed and always put her family before herself.
She is survived by three children, Cindy McMillan and husband Jimmy of Snyder, Texas, Jack Howard and wife Carla of Sweetwater, Texas, and Brent Howard of Sweetwater, Texas, also four grandchildren, Kevin McMillan, Sean Howard, Bryan Howard and Justin Howard, two great grandchildren, Emma Mc Millan and Braxton Howard, nephew, Kenny Bonner and wife Norma of Sweetwater, Texas, and great nephew and niece and great great nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Tye Yoakum, husband, L.H. Howard and sister, Louise (Lucy) Bonner.
Pallbearers will be Kevin McMillan, Bryan Howard, Justin Howard, Sean Howard, Kenny Bonner, and Daryl Nelson.
