(Bill) William Henry Null, Jr., age 81, of Colorado City, Texas (Former resident of Sweetwater, Texas) passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Kristi Lee Manor in Colorado City, Texas.
His body was cremated. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas with Rev. Clay Jacobson officiating. Burial will follow with the Fort Hood Honor Guard. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
William was born on July 30, 1932 in Hamlin, Texas to William Henry, Sr. and Ethel (Fletcher) Null. He married Bobbie Nell Davison October 1, 1955 in Sweetwater, Texas. He was a Baptist and a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. He was a welder for Titanium Metals Corp. in Henderson, Nevada before retiring in 1995.
He is survived by his daughter, Ingrid Spencer and husband Gary of Roscoe, Texas; two grandchildren; Justin Spencer and Heath Spencer, both of Sweetwater, Texas; six great grandchildren; Shelby Spencer, Levi Spencer, Jacob Spencer, Katelyn Spencer, Mason Spencer and Logan Spencer, one brother, B.W. Cherry of Kingsland, Texas, two sisters, Glenda Pence of Kingsland, Texas, and Marilyn Watson of Weatherford, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Null, son, Jeffrey Null, parents, William Henry and Ethel Null, four brothers, Wilton Null, Larry Null, Robert Null, and John Null, two sisters, Wanda Bunselmeyer and Betty Sue Turner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Welton Ellison, Frank Stevens, Ray Watson and Steven Guelker.
