Billy Joe Craver

Billy Joe Craver, 78, of Sweetwater, Texas, (formerly of Rotan, Texas) passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.
His request was to have his body donated for medical research. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Ray Browning officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Billy was born on November 22, 1934 in Ranger, Texas to J.C. Craver and Martha( McCallahan )Craver. He worked as a design engineer for Texas Instruments for many years before retiring. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He loved to hunt and shoot sporting clays, trap and skeet.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Craver of Rotan, Texas; three sons, Kenneth Craver, Ronald Craver and Billy Roy Craver; step-daughter, Brandi Yegiyan; granddaughter, Katy Scott; step grandchildren, Heather Grimmer, Carl Grimmer and Casey Webb; two great granddaughters, Lilly and Audrei; and his beloved cousins from the Bredemeyer Family.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann Craver and one sister.
