Brooks Seigle Davis, age 37, of Abilene, Texas (Former Longtime Resident of Sweetwater, Texas) passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Hendrick Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Ward Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M..
Brooks was born on July 24, 1976 in Abilene, Texas to John F. and Cindy ( Hite) Davis. He graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1995 and Angelo State University in 2000 receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. .He married Bambi Kendrick on June 27, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church. He worked as a site operation manager for NRG Energy, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Bambi Davis of Abilene, Texas; parents, John F. and Cindy Davis ; mother-in-law and father-in-law - Frankie Riney and husband Alan of Maryneal, Texas; grandparents, Marilyn Davis, and Bobbie and Jimmy Ellis, all of Sweetwater, brother and sister-in-law, Shawn Davis and wife Danelle of Sweetwater, Texas; brother-in-law, Brandon Kendrick of Chicago, Illinois, nephews, Seth Dixon Davis and Daniel John Davis, all of Sweetwater, uncles, Steve Davis and wife Kathy of Southlake, TX and Carl Hite of Virginia Beach, Virginia, cousins, Kassi Marie Davis, Stephen Neal Davis and wife Stephanie, Tara Hite Cofer and husband Carey, and Ryan Hite.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank A. Davis and O.D. and Katherine "Kitty" Hite.
Pallbearers will be Lance Sims, Marty Cormier, Tony Delgado, Bryan Gregory, Scott McBride, and Dave Garza.
Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Dixon Davis, Daniel John Davis, Stephen Neal Davis, Ryan Seigle Hite and Josh Hammonds,
