Carl Dwayne Sparks

Carl Dwayne Sparks, age 62, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Baylor All Saints/Vitas Hospice in Tarrant County, Fort Worth, Texas.

Per his wishes, his body was cremated. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Hendrix officiating. Burial of his cremains will follow.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Carl was born on May 25, 1956 in Sweetwater, Texas to Marion Sparks and Martha Trantham. He was a former Journeyman Electrician at D & E Electrical Contractors out of Midland, Texas. He retired to Sweetwater and lived his remaining days there until illness caused him to be medi-flighted to Baylors All Saints Hospital.

He is survived by his son, Jeremy Carlisle Sparks of Navasota, Texas and granddaughter, Rachael Sparks of Trent, TX.. Brothers, Randy Sparks of San Angelo, TX, Ric Ware of California, Kevin Sparks of Colorado and Robert Collett of Del Valle, TX,. Sisters, Jamie Gray and Jamison Boudreau of Trent, TX, JoAnn and Carol Ware of Oklahoma. His father Marion Sparks and Mary of San Angelo, TX and many very special uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Collett, step-father, Curly Ware, little brother, Keith Sparks and niece, Paige Maxwell.
