Chad Wade Holland, age 25, of Blackwell, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 in Blackwell, Texas.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Blackwell First Baptist Church with Rev. Larry McRorey, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Blackwell Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home
Chad was born on November 9, 1989 in Abilene, Texas to Brad and Deborah (McRorey) Holland. He was a high school graduate of Blackwell ISD. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Blackwell. He worked as a roustabout for Leon Standard Oilfield Services. He also was a Blackwell Volunteer Firefighter. He became a member of the Hylton Masonic Lodge #884, AF & AM at the age of eighteen.
He is survived by his parents - Brad and Deborah Holland of Blackwell, Texas, Grandmothers, Bennie McRorey and Dorene Wilson, both of Blackwell, sister, Kelsey Johnson and husband Duke of Blackwell , two nephews, Cooper Johnson and Easton Johnson, both of Blackwell, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Larry McRorey and Bruce Holland, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Josh McWhorter, Jeremy McWhorter, Brett Wills, Hadley Holland, Garritt Harris, and Darren Griffin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Clower, Brian Johnson, Bob Harrell, Chris Dillon, Zac Burwick, Callen Ware, Charlie Roland, Jr., Jeffrey Friar, and members of Hylton Masonic Lodge #884, AF & AM.
