Clematine Wilson, age 82, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Keith Clower offficiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
Clematine was born on April 20, 1933 in Jones County, Texas to Ninnie and Carrie Edna (Jones) Head. She married John Thomas Wilson on November 19, l955 in Sweetwater, Texas. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Wilson and Johnny Wilson, both of Sweetwater, Texas, four brothers, Clarence Head, Hollis Head, and S.C. Head, all of Sweetwater, Texas and Dalton Head of Abilene, Texas, two sisters, Nelda Bond and Christine Walker, both of Sweetwater, Texas, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ninnie and Carrie (Jones) Head, husband, John T. Wilson and brother, Junior Head.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Baptist Church, 503 East Alabama, Sweetwater, Texas 79556.
