Daina Shellene Miller, age 23, of Seagraves, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 29, 2015 at Lamar Street Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Clifton officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 7:00- 8:00 P.M..
Daina was born on March 28, 1992 in Clarksville, Kentucky to Carl L. and Terri Kay (Davis) Miller. She was a Baptist. She loved life, animals, butterflies, and George Strait and Alan Jackson music. She never met a stranger and always fought with a smile.
She is survived by her mother, Terri Kay Powers and step-dad Michael of Seagraves, Texas, father, Carl L. Miller and wife Brandi of El Paso, Texas, four brothers, Trace Powers and Garrett Powers, both of Seagraves, Texas and Zachary Miller and Sebastian Miller, both of El Paso, Texas, extended brother, Joshua Rains of Sweetwater, Texas, grandparents, Sherline Davis of Trent, Texas, Charlotte and Jerald Nesloney of Orange Grove, Texas, Sharlit Miller of Gainesville, Texas, great grandmother, Miriam McCleery of Orange Grove, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Gary Don Davis, Kenneth Burton Ellis, and Roy Miller.
Pallbearers will be members of BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse).
