Darrell Keith Hunt

Darrell Keith Hunt, age 61, of San Angelo, Texas, (Former resident of Sweetwater, Texas), went to be with the Lord and his Mom & Dad on  Saturday, July 20, 2023 .

A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Pinkerton officiating.  Burial of his cremains will follow at Garden of Memories.

Darrell was born on March 22, 1962 in Sweetwater, Texas to Winston Darrell Hunt and Ruby Louise Bailey Hunt.  He was raised in Sweetwater, Texas.

Keith was a very loving man to his family and his friends and always went around with a smile on his face and was always kind to everyone. He was a jolly soul and a precious man who loved the Lord with all his heart. He wouldn't hesitate to help someone or make them smile if they were having a bad day. He was a jokester so there was never a dull moment around him. He loved a good prank or a joke. He always had something funny to share. He was someone you'd want to be around for sure. He made a friend everywhere he went. The Lord, his son, his sister and little brother, family and friends and music were what he loved the most in his life. His son was his whole world and he loved him so very much. He loved to jam out to his favorite songs which were usually rock songs and hang out with his family with a big ole smile on his face. He was such a jolly man with the hugest heart. He always remembered his loved ones birthdays. And he was always our weather man. He'd call us up to let us know about the weather or to check on us. He's sure going to be missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is survived by his son, Darrell Craig Hunt and wife Diana, sister, Janet Hunt, brother Michael Hunt and wife Peggy as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He will also be missed by all his friends at Lone Star Beef Packaging Co..

He was preceded in death by his parents, Winston Darrell & Ruby Louise Hunt.
