Dorothy Barnett, age 88, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Tuesday,

July 27, 2010 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center .

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 28, 2010

at Garden of Memories with Larry Fluitt officiating under the direction

of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born on August 24, 1921 in Sweetwater, Texas . She married

Curtis Barnett on November 17, 1940 at the Sweetwater High School Auditorium.

She was a longtime member of Lamar Street Church of Christ and then Avenue

B Church of Christ . She was a homemaker and loved sewing.

She is survived by two daughters – Sheila Burnett and husband Dale of Sweewater,

TX and DaLane N. Morgan and husband Rob of Roby, Texas ; (3) Grandchildren –

Curt Crisp and wife Marcie of Sweetwater, TX, Burt Burnett and wife Rebecca of

Abilene, Texas; and Brook Burnett and wife Shelley of San Angelo, Texas ;

(5) Great Grandchildren – Shea Burnett, Blair Burnett, Jaxson Burnett, Jagger

Burnett and Connor Crisp, Sister – Wilda Jones and husband Bill of Irving,

Texas, Brother – Brannon Busby and wife Kathy of Slaton, TX, and many nieces

and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Redden and Erma Busby, husband –

Curtis Barnett, and (2) sisters – Lucille Rasberry and Wanda Briggs.
