Eddie Lynn (Cricket) Presley

Eddie Lynn (Cricket)  Presley, age 68, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 4, 2022 at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas with Pastor Jeramy Thompson officiating.   Burial will follow.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M..

Eddie was born on September 11, 1953 in Winnsboro, Louisiana.  He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and also a life long resident of Sweetwater.  He worked as a self-employed truck driver for many years before retiring.

He is survived by two sons, Stephen Presley and wife Melisa of Sweetwater, Texas and Brandon Presley of Sweetwater, Texas, and two daughters, Kristi Eivens and husband James of Sweetwater and Brittany Presley and Kassie Lopez of Sweetwater, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Lee Cochran and sister, Patricia Faye.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Presley, Brandon Presley, James Eivens, and Greg Pope.
