Edward Lee Robinson, Jr., age 63, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Carey officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery with the U.S. Naval Honor Guard. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Edward was born on March 20, 1952 in Sweetwater, Texas to Edward Lee Robinson, Sr. and Juanita Brown. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked in the billing and food service department of the V.A. for many years before retiring.
He is survived by his daughter, Chaka Brown and husband Edric of Houston, Texas; father, Edward Lee Robinson, Sr. of Farmington, New Mexico, two brothers, Eddie Robinson of Sweetwater, Texas and Earl Robinson of Arizona, four sisters, Charlene, Sue Helen, Angie, and Tina, four grandchildlren, Terreous, Kerry, Makayla, and Nicholas and one great grandson, Mekhi.
