Edwinia (Ellis) Clowers

Edwinia Ellis Clowers, age 75, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Pastor Tommy Fraley officiating. Burial will follow.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Edwinia was born on June 16, 1944 in Sweetwater, Texas to J.B. and Clara Mae (Foust) Ellis. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She is survived by two sons, Lonnie Clowers and wife Deanna of Sweetwater, Texas; and Michael Clowers of Blackwell, Texas, daughter, Cinnamon Clowers of Sweetwater, Texas; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, sister, Linda Easa and husband Danny of Cleveland, Ohio, sister-in-law, Sherline Ellis Davis of Trent, Texas, sister-in-law, Nancy Ellis of Abilene, Texas, brothers, David Ellis and wife Carmella of Roscoe, Texas, Jimmy Ellis and wife Bobbie of Sweetwater, Texas, and John Ellis and wife Sharon of Dublin, Texas and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Clara Ellis, sister, Roberta Harrell, brothers, Kenneth B. Ellis and Bill Ellis.

Pallbearers will be Adam Davis, Alex Davis, John Paul Ellis, Ricky Foust, Steven Ellis, and John Ellis.
