Elaine Gillespie

Elaine Gillespie, age 66, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Hendrick North in Abilene, Texas. 

Her wishes were to be cremated. Arrangements were  under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home. 

A celebration of life for Elaine will be at Fort Phantom Lake at the Johnson Park on Sunday, February 23, 2025 beginning at 1:00 P.M..

Elaine was born on August 26, 1958 in Sweetwater, Texas to W.B. and Nadine Gillespie. She was a Christian. 

She is survived by sons, Donnie Clayton and fiance Vanessa Guerrero of Sweetwater, Texas and Jason Bromley and wife Heather of Sweetwater, Texas; granddaughter, Bailey Bromley; sisters, Pat Reeves of Lytton Springs, Texas, Rene Green of Austin, Texas, Sherline Davis of Trent, Texas, and Jo Tiller of Cedar Creek, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.B. Gillespie and Nadine Gillespie; grandson, Blake Bromley, and brother, W.L. Gillespie.
