Emogene ( Jean) M. Dannelley, age 83, of Abilene, Texas (Former Resident of Sweetwater, Texas) went to be with her Lord & Savior on Friday, May 4, 2012.
Her body was cremated. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Garden of Memories with Dusty Lovell officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. Arrangements under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Jean was born on August 21, 1928 in Camden, Alabama to Emogene and Lloyd Fell. She married Jessie J. Dannelley. She was a born again Christian that lived to serve her Lord. She also wanted everyone to know the Lord Jesus Christ as she did. She touched many lives during her 83 years on this earth.
Jean is survived by two daughters, Jessie Harp and husband Price of Tuscola, Faye Dolbear of Wakefield, Virginia; four grandchildren, Zachary S. Jackson and wife Shelia, Bill D. Jackson and wife Jeanie, Jennifer M. Rose and husband Clay, and Kimberly A. Stahl and husband Scott, nine great grandchildren, two brothers, Lloyd W. Fell and wife Nellie of Florida, and Charles Blankenship and wife Betty of North Carolina, one sister, Martha Peacock and husband James of Mississippi, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd W. and Mamie Emogene Fell, husband, Jessie J. Dannelley, daughter, Elvie Elmore, two brothers and four sisters.
