Esperanza (Hope) Rodriquez, age 67, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on February 19, 2014 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel.. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
She was born on July 10, 1946, in Sinton, Texas to Jose and Manuela (Villa ) Ramon. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Roby, Texas. She worked for T.A. Truck Stop for many years. She was a former resident of Roby, Texas.
She was survived by two daughters, Paulina Rodriquez and Donna Rodriquez, both of Sweetwater, Texas; eight grandchilden, Katrina Romero, Junior Romero, Adrianna Juarez, Christina Juarez, Rebecca Juarez, Hannah Rodriquez, Daniel Rodriquez, and Joey Rodriquez, eight great grandchildren, Ethan Romero, Kayloni Juarez, Mariah Rodriquez, Jeremiah Rodriquez, Gracie Sartain, Gabriel Rodriquez, Angelita Gomez and Kylie Sartain, four sisters, Gloria Guardado of Quanah, Texas, Janie Galan of Vernon, Texas, Victoria Leal of Seguin, Texas, and Annita Ramon of Borger, Texas, three brothers, Leandro Ramon and wife Severa of Sylvester, Texas, Benjamin Ramon and wife Diana of Ballinger, Texas, and Marcos Ramon and wife Charllete of Vernon, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose & Manuela Ramon, beloved daughter, Angie Romero, five brothers, and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Augustine Ramon, Santos Vera, Brian James, Alex Nunez, Luis Romero, Sr. and Armando Baeza.
