Eufemia Lopez Heredia, age 82 of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Lara officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Eufemia was born on March 20, 1933 in Rocksprings, Texas to Juan and Julie (Macias) Lopez. She was a homemaker. She was a Catholic.
She is survived by her husband, Luis Heredia of Sweetwater, Texas, one daughter, Alicia Gauna of Grand Prairie, Texas, three sisters, Frances Gutierrez of Sweetwater, Texas, Ines Gongora of Abilene, Texas, and Mary Delorea of Arizona, one brother, Manuel Lopez of Sweetwater, Texas, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Pete Lopez, and Pablo Lopez and sister, Margarita Gomez.
Pallbearers will be Randy Melendez, Ricky Heredia, Gilbert Heredia, Gilbert Costillo, Arthur Arzate, and Gabriel Melendez.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.
