Faith "Sissy" Maxwell, age 64, of Big Spring, Texas, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Big Spring Center for Skilled Care surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 24, 2024 at University Church of Christ Chapel, 733 E North 16th Street, Abilene, Texas with Alan Caffey officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery, Sweetwater, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Faith was born on April 13, 1960 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Clarence and Ardith (Pettigrew) Malcolm. She married Michael Maxwell in 2013 in Big Spring, Texas. She worked as a senior cashier for Lawrence Bros. for many years. She was a member of University Church of Christ in Abilene, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be truly missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Michael (Mike) Maxwell of Big Spring, Texas; daughter, Amanda Williams and husband Cody of Big Spring, Texas; son, Shawn Wimer and wife Madyson of Amarillo, Texas; son, Jason Wimer of Midland, Texas; step-daughter, Ann Marie Gilmore of Sweetwater, Texas; step-sons, Michael Paul Rotan and Harry Don Rotan and wife Lisa of Sweetwater, Texas; grandchildren, Makenzie Williams, Kylie Williams, Braylie Wimer, Brodie Wimer, Ella Wimer and Kennedi Wimer; three sisters, Linda Caffey and husband Alan of Abilene, Texas, Sheila Connerly and husband Jeff of Conway, Arkansas, and Diana Malcolm of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Clarence (Doug) Malcolm and wife Evangelyn of the Philippines; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ardith Malcolm, and brother, Jackie Malcolm.
Pallbearers will be family members.
