Gabino C. Trevino

Gabino C. Trevino, age 76, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene, Texas.

Per his wishes, his body was cremated.  A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ollie Wilburn officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Gabino was born on February 15, 1945 in Mexico to Gabino and Teodosa (Cardenas)  Trevino.  He married Alejandra (Alice) Martinez on June 6, 1996 in Rockdale, Texas.  He was a member of Rhema Valley Church.  He worked for Henson Floor Covering and was self employed for many years before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Alejandra (Alice) Trevino of Sweetwater, Tx, sons, Alejandro Ruben Trevino of Sweetwater, Texas,  Jose Trevino and wife Minnie of Colorado, Juan Trevino of Victoria, Texas, Gabino C. Trevino, III and wife Cindy of Ohio, and Frank Trevino and wife Selena of Monterrey, Mexico, step-son, Jimmy Soto of Sweetwater, Texas, step-daughter, Lise Soto of Sweetwater, Texas,  sixteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, two brothers, Javier Trevino, and Ruben Trevino, and one sister, Yita Trevino.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gabino and Teodosa Trevino, Sr. , one sister and three brothers.
