Georgann (Goodnight) Templeton

Georgann Templeton, age 68, of Cotulla, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 at PAM Specialty Hospital of San Antonio.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 17, 2023  at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Laurie Templeton and Lucie Jenkins officiating.  Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Georgann was born on October 18, 1954 in Houston, Texas to John Harris and Georgia Elizabeth (Harless) Goodnight.  She married David Templeton on December 31, 1984 in Sweetwater, Texas.  She was a homemaker and a member of Cotulla Church of Christ.  She loved scrapbooking.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  Her family was the joy of her life.

She is survived by her husband, David Templeton of Cotulla, Texas, two daughters, Laurie Templeton of Denton, Texas, and Lucie Jenkins and husband Wayne of San Angelo, Texas, four grandchildren, Lacey Cole, Lily Jenkins, Dani Jenkins, and Davy Jenkins, one great grandchild on the way, two brothers, Charles Goodnight and wife Shelly of Abilene, Texas, and Darrel Goodnight of Sweetwater, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Harris and Georgia Elizabeth Goodnight, and sister-in-law, Joyce Goodnight.

Pallbearers will be Davy Jenkins, Wayne Jenkins, Kendall Kinney, Chandler Cole, Lytle Arche, and Nathan Dick.

Honorary pallbearer will be Thearl Nelson.
