Henry (Hank) Foshee

June 23, 1938 — May 10, 2014

Henry (Hank) Foshee, age 75, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Hendrick Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Matt Mc Gowen officiating.   Burial will follow.  Arrangements  under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 6:00 - 7:30 P.M..

Henry was born on June 23, 1938 in Wright City, Oklahoma to Jewel and Jennette Eddie Mae (Larcade) Foshee. He married Thelma Thames on June 22, 1968 in Sweetwater, Texas.  He had been a resident of Sweetwater since 1961. He worked as a communications technician  for AT&T for 39 years before retiring.  He was a Baptist and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Foshee of Sweetwater; son, Kenneth L. Foshee and Kristi Urkuski of Leander, Texas, three daughters, Katherine Wilson, Rhonda Wilks and husband Randy, all of Sweetwater, Texas, and Shari Carrell and husband Todd of  Paducah, Kentucky, beloved step-daughter, Debra Cantwell and husband John, currently assigned to duty in Africa, grandchildren, Brandon Bass, Gary Bass, Kelli Bass, Anna Cantwell,  Preston Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Trilece Wilson, Jeremy Wilks, Tiffany Rule, Tricia Urkuski, Ronnie Urkuski,  Jessica Carrell and  Sean Carrell, five great grandchildren, and two brothers, John Ed Foshee of Dale City, Oklahoma and Tom Foshee of Orlando, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewel and Jennette Foshee, and two brothers, Bill Foshee and Otto Foshee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled Veterans, National Military Family Association, 3601 Eisenhower Ave, Suite 425, Alexandria, VA 22304, Fisher House Foundation, 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420, Rockville, MD 20850-5168 or charity of ones choice.

Honorary pallbearers will be retirees of AT&T.
