Hipolito H. (Pee Wee) Perez, age 73, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.
A rosary will be held 7:00 P.M., Sunday, January 15, 2012, at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel recited by Connie Palacios.
Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 noon, Monday, January 16, 2012 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Okonkwo officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Hipolito (Pee Wee) Perez was born March 12, 1938 in Sweetwater, Texas to Flavio and Maria (Hernandez) Perez. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Michelle Gomez of Sweetwater, Texas; two granddaughters, Megan and Morgan Gomez, both of Sweetwater, Texas, one great granddaughter, Kaegan Gomez of Sweetwater, Texas; sister, Estella Gomez of Sweetwater, two nieces, Delia Jacques and husband Rodney of Sweetwater and Aninta Perez of San Antonio, four nephews, Sammy Gomez of San Angelo, Tx; Bobby Gomez and Andy Gomez, both of Sweetwater; and Ricky Gomez of Abilene, Tx; and numerous great nieces and nephews, including Sean Jacques and Crystal Jacques.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Flavio and Maria Perez, one brother, Oscar Perez, two sisters, Henrietta Gomez and Rosa Espino, two nephews, Roger Gomez and Martin Gomez, niece, Odelia Gomez and great nephew, Christopher Gomez.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Jacques, Ricky P. Gomez, Eddie Torres, Ernesto Perez, Lolly Gutierrez, and Ricky Castro.
