James (Jaime) Vasquez, age 55, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas.
A rosary will be held 7:00 P.M., Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 25, 2013 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home with Deacon Bill Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
James was born on March 18, 1958 in Sweetwater, Texas. He graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1978 and also he graduated from cosmetology college. He worked as a beautician for many years. He was a Catholic.
He is survived by his mother, Petra Adames of Sweetwater, Texas; brother, Manuel Adames, Jr. and wife Dawn of San Angelo, Texas; sister, Jo Ann Villesca and husband Mundy of Fort Stockton, Texas; nieces and nephews, Manuel Adames, III, Echo Adames, Mundy Villesca, Jr., David Villesca, Kresa Castillo and husband Carlos; great nieces and nephews, Dezirae Adames, Memphiz Solis, and Krista Castillo; grandmother, Juanita Vasquez of Sweetwater, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Adames, Sr., nephew, Joe L. Adames and niece, Zoie Adames.
Pallbearers will be David Villesca, Ray Adames, Ricky Castro, Benny Adames, Albert Solis, and Martin Soto.
