Jason Tovias, age 38, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 at Hendrick Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 6, 2015 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with David Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Jason was born on July 14, 1976 in Snyder, Texas to Bobby and Julia (Ornelas) Tovias.
He is survived by his mother, Julia Tovias of Sweetwater, Texas , brother, Jerry Tovias of La Jitas, Texas, maternal grandparents, Speedy and Georgia Ornelas. He was also survived by several cousins, aunts and uncles that will miss him very much and their precious family pet, Little Bit.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Tovias on Jan. 28, 2004, and his paternal grandparents, Manuel, Sr. & Delfina Tovias,
Pallbearers will be Eddie Ornelas, Semei Ornelas, Chris Requejo, Adon Reyna, Rick Flores, and Jason Flores.
Honorary pallbearers are Christian Ornelas, Ethan Bledsoe, and Tony Rosas.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 5, 2015 from 6:00 - 7:00 P.M..
