Jeffrey Tyson Hardy, 45, of Era, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Jeff, the youngest son of Autry Dee and Dianna (Cradduck) Hardy, was born May 24, 1978, in Plano, Texas.
Jeff attended school at Highland and Roscoe ISD’s. He played for the Roscoe Plowboys football and golf teams. After several years, Jeff switched gears, returned to TSTC in Sweetwater, and received his associate degree in tractor mechanics. He was self-employed and continued repairing tractors and farm equipment until 2023, when his health restricted his ability to work.
Jeff was baptized in July 1994 on a youth trip. He was an active member of the Era Church of Christ in Era, Texas. Jeff was thoughtful and kind. He had a heart for helping others and always made new friends wherever he went.
He loved sports and enjoyed a good game of golf. Jeff was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and always looked forward to game day. He also enjoyed deep-sea fishing and finding a good fishing hole to spend time with his dad.
