Jerrod Allen Parker, 29, of Sweetwater, Texas was taken from us much too soon. He passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Jerrod was born March 10, 1986 in San Angelo, Texas. He was an employee of Eljen Technologies where he was a machine operator. He was loved by many and will be horribly missed.
Jerrod leaves behind his fiancé, Taniel Murphy, and daughter, Madison Lynn Parker of Sweetwater; his mother, Sharon Carlisle, his sister and best friend, Caty Parker and his nephew, Ryland Allen Parker, all of Portland Texas: his father, Kim Parker and step-mother, Donna Parker of Sweetwater; his step-brothers, Henry (Denise) Ortiz of El Paso, Chris Ortiz of Sweetwater and Albert (Michelle) Ortiz of Corpus Christi; his step-sister, Mikayla (AJ) Redden of Abilene: grandmother, Rosemary Rost of Kerrville. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis Strunk along with Mary Lou and Harold Parker. Jerrod was also loved deeply by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Cate-Spencer and Trent Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at 10:00am with Rev. Chris Stephens officiating.
