Jerry Wayne Bredemeyer

Jerry Wayne Bredemeyer, age 77, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Keith Hills officiating.  Burial will follow at Roscoe Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Jerry was born on December 31, 1945 in Winters, Texas to August Henry and Rosa Lavell (Young) Bredemeyer.  He married Leta Faye Bailey.  He worked for T & R Well Service as a welder before retiring.  He was a longtime resident of Sweetwater, Texas.  He was a Lutheran.  He loved fishing, camping and barbequing.

He is survived by daughter, Kerri Gotcher of Sweetwater, Texas, sister, Joan Kendrick of Roscoe, Texas, and brother, Robert Bredemeyer and wife Gayla of San Angelo, Texas, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife Leta Bredemeyer, parents, August and Rosa Bredemeyer, brothers, Teddy Joe Bredemeyer, Elton Roy Bredemeyer, August Bredemeyer, III,  and Michael "Blue" Bredemeyer, and sister Alma Conway.
