Jewell Dean Means, age 74, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Tuesday,

July 20, 2010 at Hendrick Medical Center .

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 24, 2010

at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James

Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Pyron Cemetery under

the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Jewell Dean Means was born on Feb. 27, 1936 in Fisher County, TX to

A.R. and Ellen Martha Walton Paulk. She was a barber and worked for

Wayne ’s Barber Shop before retiring.

She is survived by two sons – Gary Barnes of Sweetwater , Texas and Bill

Barnes of San Antonio, Texas, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents – A.R. and Ellen Martha Paulk,

(1) sister and (1) brother.

Pallbearers will be J.R. Angerer, Joseph Angerer, Stephen Angerer and Ken

Ogle.

Honorary pallbearers will be Grover Barnes, Artie Barnes and Joe Barnes.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 6-8

PM.
