Johnny M. Anderson

Johnny M. Anderson, age 73, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Big Spring Center for Skilled Care.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10:00 A.M., to service time.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.  Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Johnny was born on December 24, l949 in Snyder, Texas to Carl Martin and Myrtle Lois (Leatherwood) Anderson.  He had been a resident of Roscoe and Sweetwater.  He worked in the oilfield as an electrician for EC&M,  F& R, and Jolley Well Services.  He was a Christian.

He is survived by sons, Johnny Anderson, Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas  and Dustin Anderson of Lake Whitney, Texas, and daughter, Jana White and husband Vasile of Fort Worth, Texas, step-children, Melanie Carter, Darla Maxwell, Allen Carter, and Charles Carter, seven grandchildren, Tay, Ella, Kaylee, Connor, Colton, Kaiden, and Jonathan and step-grandchildren, sister, June Maxwell and husband Ronnie of Big Spring, Texas, and one nephew, Craig Maxwell of Big Spring, Texas, and two nieces, Suzanne Kirkland of Big Spring, Texas, and Alice White of Austin, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Martin Anderson & Myrtle Lois Anderson, daughter, Julie Anderson,  brother, Buster Anderson and niece, Rhonda Maxwell.
