Josephine G. Rosas passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
A Prayer Service will be held 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny DeLeon officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.
Josephine was born on March 18, 1935 in Greeley, Colorado to Jose and Antonia (Lopez) Guerrero. She married Rosalio Rosas on October 9, 1954 in Colorado City, Texas. She worked as a nurse's aide for Loraine Nursing Home and Colorado City Nursing Home. She also worked in the cafeteria at Southeast Campus of SISD and TSTC. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.
She is survived by sons, Charlie Rosas and wife Norma of Sweetwater, Texas, Paul Rosas and wife Rosalinda of Lubbock, Texas, Tony Rosas of Sweetwater, Texas, daughters, Linda Garza and husband Julian of Sweetwater, Texas and Sandy Rosas of Sweetwater, Texas, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and brother, Frank Guerrero and wife Susan of Denver City, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosalio Rosas, parents, Jose and Antonia Guerrero, son, Ricky Joe Rosas, brother, Isidro Guerrero and sister, Consuelo Najar.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Rosas, Jr., Kevin Rosas, Adrian Rosas, Monica Garza, Veronica Garza, P.J. Garza, and Tayden Bender.
