Juan Manuel Montoya

Juan Manuel Montoya, age 69, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, August 22, 202l at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Francisco Ortega officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Juan was born on August 13, 1952 in Ault, Colorado to Jose and Sanjuanita(Cabello) Montoya. He worked for ADM for twenty years and then started working for United States Gypsum for twenty eight years before retiring. He was a hard worker. Juan was a loving father and brother. He never met a stranger. He was a good Christian man. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Ruby Montoya of Arlington, Texas, son, John Andrew Montoya of Arlington, Texas, brothers, Joe Montoya, Michael Montoya and wife Jill, Julian Montoya and wife Martha, Edmund Montoya and wife Gina, Rudy Ramirez and wife Elvia, and Jeffrey Montoya, sisters, Lilly Moncivais and husband Bo, and Oralia Montoya, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose & Sanjuanita Montoya.
