Juanita Delapaz, age 72, of Colorado City, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Mitchell County Cemetery in Colorado City, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Juanita was born on May 15, 1942 in Monteola, Texas to Elohio and Carmen (Diaz) Pena. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Yolanda Limones and Pat Medina, both of Loraine, Texas; two sons, Rosendo Delapaz, Jr. of Colorado City, Texas, and Oscar Delapaz of Tennesse Colony, Texas; one brother, Noe Pena of Colorado City, Texas, two sisters, Irene Delapaz of Sweetwater, Texas, and Dominga Garcia of Beeville, Texas; and thirteen grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosendo Delapaz, Sr. one daughter, Rebecca Medrano, three brothers, Cipriano Pena, Lucio Pena, and Willie Pena, grandson, Oscar Delapaz, and great grandson, Louis Anthony Limones.
