Kathryn Minnie (Bowman) Shadley

Kathryn Minnie Shadley, age 70, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

Per her wishes, her body was cremated. Arrangements were under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Texoma Cowboy Church, 919 US Hwy. 281 South, Wichita Falls, Texas 76130.

Kathryn was born on October 2, 1953 in Wichita Falls, Texas to James Palmer and Florence Elizabeth (McCarty) Bowman.  She married Frank Shadley in Reno, Nevada.  She worked as a driver for Carr County City Transportation and also worked for Walmart.  She was a Christian.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Shadley of Sweetwater, Texas; daughters, Misty Wharff and husband Glenn and Loretta Mullin and husband Terry, all of Wichita Falls, Texas; son, Clifford Shadley and wife Krista of Wichita Falls, Texas; two sisters Sally Trafford and husband Rick, and Marjorie Winders; twenty three grandchildren,  numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jamey Gray; and two brothers, Harry and James Bowman.
