Kenneth Paul Bewley

Kenneth Paul Bewley, age 74, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

His body was cremated.  A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 18, 2013 at Lamar Street Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Clower and Dusty Lovell officiating.   Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Kenneth Paul Bewley was born on April 8, 1939 in Claytonville, Texas to  Paul and Bernice (McCain) Bewley.  He married Wanda Swinney on August 23, 1958 in Merkel, Texas. He owned and operated  Bewleys RV and Bewleys Surplus &  Salvage for many years before retiring.  He also worked  for Modern Pontiac and Holiday Rambler for many years. He was a life long resident of Sweetwater.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years,  Wanda Bewley of Sweetwater, Texas; four children, Paula Steen and husband Wade of Roswell, New Mexico, Pam Caswell of Roby, Texas, Patty Terry and husband Greg of Sweetwater, Texas, and Robert Bewley and wife Linda of Dodge City, Kansas, one brother, John Bewley and wife Susan of Sweetwater, Texas, twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, brother-in-law, Travis Swinney and wife Carolyn of Abilene, Texas, numerous nieces,  nephews, and  cousins and one aunt, Edith McCain of Sweetwater, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Bewley, mother, Bernice Mooney, brother, Dan Sherer, niece, Darla Bewley and sister-in-law, Pat Bewley.
