Kenneth D. Harris

Kenneth D. Harris, age 70, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at his residence.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at  Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Ken Becker officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.

Kenneth was born on August 5, 1952 in Sweetwater, Texas to Raymond and Merl Elizabeth (Combs) Harris.  Kenneth graduated from Roscoe High School in 1970.  He was a Baptist.   He was a member of the U.S. National Guard.  He owned and operated a dry cleaning business.  He was a former resident of New Orleans, Louisiana for twenty years before moving back to Sweetwater.

He is survived by daughters, Brandy Parker and husband James of Sweetwater, Texas, and Niki Pride and husband Trent of Caldwell, Texas, step-daughter,  Becky Gay and husband Richard of Georgia, brother, Randy Harris and wife Cindy of Mandeville, Louisiana,  sister - Vicki Leclerc and husband Donald of Maxwell, Texas, nine grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Merl Harris, and nephew, Jason Kyle Leclerc.
