Leola Haden, age 71, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Hendrick Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Carey officiating.  Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Leola was born December 9, 1939 in Cameron, Texas to Dave and Lizzie Gray Williams.  She was a member of Greater Zion Baptist Church, serving as a usher for many years.    She married James Arnett Haden, Sr.  on July 13, 1956 in Roscoe, Texas.  She worked for Walls Industries,The Truck Stop in Colorado City, and Dairy Fluff in Roscoe as a cook, and also as a housekeeper for Dr. Joe Terry for many years before retiring.  She raised eight children.
She is survived by four daughters, Sandra and Ronnie Atkins of Sweetwater, Texas; Yolanda Haden and Wayne Amos of Rowlett, Texas; Karen and Tracy White of San Angelo, Texas; and Susan and Ladell Taylor of Sweetwater, Texas; four sons, James and Mary Haden of Snyder, Texas; Paul and Lisa Haden; Curtis Haden and David Haden, all of Sweetwater, Texas; Eighteen grandchildren; Fifteen great grandchildren; Two Sisters, Norma Gene McCollum  of Chicago, Illinois and Daisy Mae Manners of Cameron, Texas; three brothers, Robert Milton Williams of San Diego, California; Isaiah Williams of Loraine, Tx; and Horace Williams of Levelland, Texas; step-sister, Beverly Pennye of Abilene, Texas, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Lizzie Williams; husband, James Arnett Haden, Sr. ; one granddaughter, Favor Haden, two brothers, Melvin Williams and Isaac Williams; and one sister, Zula Mae Williams.
Pallbearers will be Charles Walker, Brian Johnson, George Nickerson, Billie Bell, Ron Atkins, Jr. and Johnny McCoy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Atkins, Jonathan Atkins, Timothy Atkins, and Julius Haden.
