Linnie Rowlett, age 92, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Parkdale Cemetery in Arlington, Texas with Rev. Elizabeth Pence officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Linnie was born on November 30, 1922 in Sweetwater, Texas to Locke Paul Tuttle and Callie (Mosley) Tuttle. She worked as a seamstress for various alteration shops and boutiques. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She liked to do needlework, embroidering, and quilting.
She is survived by daughter, Janice Gesin and husband Jim of Sweetwater, Texas, two sons, Mike Rowlett and wife Donna of Paradise, Texas and Richard Rowlett and wife Carol of Lufkin, Texas; four grandchildren, Michele Boswell, Matthew Gesin and wife Heather, Ben Rowlett and wife Tammie and Patrick Rowlett and wife Heather and eight great grandchildren, Claire, Callie, and Ethan Boswell, Tate and Sam Rowlett, Bryce & Brandon Rowlett and Emerson Gesin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Locke & Callie Tuttle, husband, Harlan Rowlett, brother, Locke Paul Tuttle, Jr. and grandson, Jimmy Rowlett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army, Parkinson's Foundation, or charity of ones choice.
