Lowell Wray Snowden Abeita, age 59, of Roscoe, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Hendrick Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Adam Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 7-8 P.M..
Lowell Wray Abeita was born on April 16, 1954 in Gallup, New Mexico to Alvin Patrick and Helen (Hays) Abeita. He married Carol Beck on September 16, 1972 in Sweetwater, Texas. He was Baptist. He worked as a welder for Sweetwater Machine and Welding and he also worked for A-1 Auto Parts.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Abeita of Roscoe, Texas, two sons, Brandon Abeita and Noah Abeita, both of Roscoe, Texas, daughter, Tera Trotter and husband Michael of Roscoe, Texas, five grandchildren, Iven Abeita, Thea Abeita, Krysten Abeita, Kenzi Trotter, and Alec Trotter, two great grandchildren, Mason Wray Staggs and Jase Wyatt Staggs, mother-in-law, Charlene Wrenn of Sweetwater, Texas, two sisters, Leona Abeita, and Vickie Abeita, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Joe Montemayor, Jr. , Spider Whorton, Joe Rodriguez, Wrangler Little, Alec Trotter, Donnie Willmann, Lonnie Orman and Allan McGowan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Daniel, Arlie McCluskey, Gus Willman, Richard Porter, and Alvin Brown.
