Magdaleno C. Castorena, age 62, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas.
His body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 20, 2016 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bill Butler officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Magdaleno was born on August 15, 1953 in Pabellon de Arteaga, Mexico to Lalo and Josephina (Chavez) Castorena. He married Emelia Garza on February 25, l978 in Sweetwater, Texas. He worked for J. & H Strain Construction Company for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Sweetwater, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Emelia Castorena of Sweetwater, Texas, two daughters, Angie Castorena and Josephine Castorena, both of Sweetwater, Texas, son, Ricky Castorena of Sweetwater, Texas, three grandchildren, Xandria DeLacruz, Celeste Torres, and Issac Torres, all of Sweetwater, and three sisters, all of Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and numerous sisters.
