Martha L. Collett, age 79, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Hendrix and Tique Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 5, 20l7 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.

Martha was born on October 29, 1937 in Paris, Texas to James Ennis and Charlene (Wilson) Trantham. She worked as an attendant at Quick Wash, seamstress at Wall's Industries, and also worked as a bartender. She was a Baptist. She married Loy Delton "Curly" Ware in 1973 in Sweetwater, Texas. She had been a resident of Sweetwater for seventy four years.

She is survived by three sons, Carl Sparks of Trent, Texas, Randy Sparks, of San Angelo, Texas, and Ric Ware of California, daughter, Jamie Gray and Jamison Boudreau of Trent, Texas, daughter, Jo Ann Ware and Carol of Oklahoma, six grandchildren, Heather Hurtado, Shambra Klaus, Shovawna Norris, Jason Maxwell, Joshua Ware, and Holly Sparks, great granddaughter, Rachael Sparks, sister, Mary Ella Gillian, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Charlene Trantham, brothers, James and Carl Trantham, husband, Curly Ware and granddaughter, Paige Maxwell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Cody, Patrick Bridges, Chris Lewis, and Chris Campa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice, 3223 S. Loop 289, Suite 318, Lubbock, Texas 79423.
