Martha Jane (Teague) Diggs

Martha Jane Diggs, age 88, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 22, 2016 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt McGowen officiating. Private burial will follow at Garden of Memories. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.
Jane was born on September 3, 1927 in Mt. Vernon, Texas to David Newton and Bess Marguarite ( Clinton) Teague. She married Billie Edward Diggs on January 19, 1946 in Mount Pleasant, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Ella Jane Usrey of Garland, Texas, granddaughter, Danielle Ashley Montgomery and husband Michael of Rockwall, Texas, three great grandchildren, Nikole, Cameron, and Gabriel and special friend, Jim Reid.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Bess Teague, and husband, Billie Edward Diggs.
