Mary Alice Cadena

Mary Alice Cadena, age 49, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at her residence.

Per her wishes, her body was cremated.  A  memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 10, 2023 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frankie Santiago officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Mary was born on August 5, 1974 in McAllen, Texas to Alfredo and Juanita (Reyes) Cadena.  She worked as a cashier for Skinny's, Check Mart and then she started working for Allsups.  She was a loving mother, daughter and sister.  Her family meant the world to her.  Mary loved watching her TV shows.  She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Alexander Espinoza of Sweetwater, Texas, daughter, Makayla Espinoza of Abilene, Texas, mother, Janie Ortiz and husband Manuel of Roby, Texas, sisters, Juanita Boyd of Buffalo Gap, Texas, and Alexandria Reid of Baird, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alfredo Cadena and brother, Arthur Cadena.
